POM: "SIR...YOU CAN NOT SET THE DICE"

Here it comes guys. The exact words: "If you shoot next to the stick, pick up the dice like you do, and swing your arm like you do to shoot. YOU CAN NOT SET THE DICE."

This was after the previous 3 shooters had set the dice almost the same way, with a similar throw. Not GT. My turn. A couple of 7's, the pt. then a couple of numbers. "Sir...etc." My comment of "you mean none of us can shoot the way we want?" Including the guys on my right, who were all saying, "what did he say? What do you mean?" This brought on the Casino policy statement. I picked up all the $$ that I could. I did go ahead and finish, then cashed out at cashier. I went back to talk with the Pit boss. Getting him away from the table I asked, "What happened? I have been playing here for years and not one problem, ever." "Yeah, I know. The dealers told me you always take care of them everytime you play. This is a policy from upstairs. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you hit the back wall with both dice, you are OK."

My parting comment was that I would miss his good dealers, and unfortunately for him, I was the only one in my group that played table games, and I was the driver. They played where I played.

It does make a difference what we do when we do our thing. Loud, arrogant, tag-team, stupid play, is our right. It is our $$ to play with as we like. It is the Casino's right to deal with us as they like. ALWAYS.

Frank, Dom, thank you for giving us the tools, and a quality plan, to compete in a game we all love. Unfortunately some ones ability to write a check, doesn't buy them any integrity or class. I have coached, and taught many things in the past. I cannot imagine the frustration and disappointment you feel. Teaching of one's passion in life, to receptive students, is priceless. Seeing the hard work, and determination of your students come to fruition...AMAZING. Then watching and listening as idiots, with no respect, or care for anyone except themselves, just stomp their "Footprints" everywhere. Also amazing.

I apologize to you both, and the dedicated, quality, instructors, who share the passion, and work ethics, that has given us so much. I think you have won the war, but...(here is my butt again).. these skirmishes are going to bleed us dry. Sound familiar? If I had a fix, I would offer it up for all. There is no fix for greed, and stupid...legally anyway.

If I sound a little pissy, too bad. Most of the vitriolic comments have been edited.
