POM: How to handle a back off

I would like to know how you handle a back off by the pit boss. It just happened to me. He said no more craps for you. I just stood there dumb as could be. I was stunned. This is a small casino and it is known for being a tight ass place but it had good tables so I took a chance.

If he says they don't want you to play at the craps game any more what would you do? Do you try to look stupid and pretend you don't know what the guys is talking about or do you just nod and leave?
